The Public Hearing for Dharamnagar Solar Farm – II (15 MW) was held at Dharamnagar on Saturday, Sept 23, 2023. Over 150 locals gathered for the program at the local public school Shree Aadhaarbhut Vidyalay. They were briefed about the project by the developers and the Environment & Social consultant. There were representatives from the local government (Ward, Municipality) and potential investors as well.
The public was informed of the main findings of the Environmental Impact Assessment and the developer’s CSR commitments. Lot of queries were answered and upcoming work and business opportunities for locals were discussed. The Agro-Photovoltaic side of the project was appreciated by all, hoping for further partnership with local farmers.
