The Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for Dharamnagar Solar Farms I & II (10+15 MW) were signed together on Nov 26, 2023 at NEA headquarters in Kathmandu. Dr Sandip Shah, CMD of PRPL, signed the agreements with Pradeep Kumar Thike, DMD of NEA’s Planning Directorate, for the sale of 25 MW of power for 25 years. The projects are located near Chanauta, Kapilbastu, Lumbini. Annual energy production is designed to be over 50 GWh and the projects are expected to commence operations in December 2024 and March 2025 respectively.
